| Jose Trujillo grew up in Littleton and always
dreamed of owning a restaurant. In 1957 he shared that dream with his
new bride, Phyllis. After serving in the Marines, working for various
restaurants and finally for the Martin Company (now Lockheed Martin) he quit
in 1966 to pursue his dream. |

He cooked in the back of the Family Bar but
still yearned for a place of his own. Ten years later the space next
door to the bar became available and Jose jumped at the opportunity.
Jose and Phyllis used their last $250 they had in savings to open their
restaurant. |
| Jose's has been serving home style Mexican
food on Main Street for over 40 years. Jose and Phyllis' two daughters
Chris and Teri as well as their four grandchildren help out as much as they
can with Chris managing the restaurant full-time. We hope you will
stop in and give us a try. We are sure you won't regret it! |
